TOP TEN: Best Albums of 2014

best-ALBUMS-logo-20142014  saw the return of many veterans releasing new records after several years of hiatus from the studios. Sales in records continue to decline and now with new streaming services, mainstream pop albums have dominated the charts. However, we had tons of non-mainstream, independent, and classic rock records to decide what was the best of the year.

Major magazines like Billboard, Rolling Stones, and Pitchfork Media have been publishing their year-end list for what they consider is the best music of the year. The Gramophone Reporter is also proud to present you with its little ranking of the ten best albums of 2014
